Pleasanton Library hosting financial planning workshop for veterans tonight

Program features certified financial coach from Consumer Financial Protection Bureau

The Pleasanton Library will host a free, small-group workshop at 7 p.m. Monday for post-9/11 military veterans to help them with better financial planning.

The one-hour event will be led by Elizabeth Fulgaro, a certified financial coach from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau's Northern California Office.

Additional follow-up appointments will be available to provide participants the opportunity to discuss specific financial information confidentially, organizers said.

Space is limited, and early registration is encouraged but not required by contacting the library's Adult Reference Desk at 931-3400, ext. 4. For more information, visit the city's website at www.cityofpleasantonca.gov/
