Music teacher named a Pleasanton Middle band director

Jonathon Pedroni succeeds Lydia Lim, who is now Foothill High's band director

Jonathon Pedroni, a Pleasanton school district music teacher, will step in as Pleasanton Middle School's band director after the school's director was promoted.

A former band director Lydia Lim has been named band director at Foothill High School, succeeding Josh Butterfield, who was named an interim vice principal at the school last month.

Pedroni, who currently teaches at Pleasanton Middle, has been a music teacher in the Pleasanton school system for nine years. He will now finish out the year as one of the school's band directors, leading two periods a day.

Jason Ravina is also a band director at Pleasanton Middle, who will continue in his role as usual.
