5th annual St. Patrick's Brew Crawl tickets now on sale

Event scheduled in downtown Pleasanton March 19

The fifth annual St. Patrick's Brew Crawl will return to downtown Pleasanton March 19, two days late but still in time for the full weekend of St. Patrick's entertainment across the region.

Downtown merchants and local breweries will come together for a memorable night of beer tasting.

Participants will sample a variety of craft beer and tasty bites at more than 25 locations on and around Main Street. To add to the festive spirit of this event, guests are encouraged to wear green and other fun St. Patrick's Day accessories.

Presale tickets are now available for $35 at PleasantonDowntown.net as well as at Redcoats Pub, 336 St. Mary St., and Studio Seven Arts, 400 Main St. for cash or check only.

At noon Friday, March 11, ticket prices will be raised to $40.

Tickets can be redeemed on Saturday, March 19 from 4:30-7 p.m. at the starting location, Veterans Memorial Building at 301 Main St. If the event is not sold out, tickets will be available for $45 cash only starting at 4:30 p.m.

Participating breweries include Alaskan Brewery, Ale Industries, Altamont Beer Works, Cool Beerwerks, DasBrew, Dust Bowl Brewing Co., E.J. Phair Brewing Company, Eight Bridges Brewing, Epidemic Ales, Hermitage Brewing Company, Lagunitas Brewing Company, Mendocino Brewing Company, Main Street Brewery, Sauced BBQ and Spirits, Speakeasy Ales & Lagers, The Deschutes Brewery and Working Man Brewing Company.

Patrons of downtown events also can purchase VIP passes for $125. VIP pass holders receive admission to all four 2016 downtown events, starting with the St. Patrick's Day Brew Crawl on March 19. The other events are the Summer Wine Stroll on July 16, Halloween Brew Crawl, Oct. 29, and the Holiday Spirit Stroll on Nov. 19. Purchased separately, those four events would cost a total of $160.

Also, VIPs get their own check-in table the day of the event and a chance to win a free dinner downtown during or after each event. Those dinners are given in the form of a $50 downtown Pleasanton gift card.

For the Brew Crawl event, the PDA will be selling a limited number of designated driver tickets for $10 on the night of the Brew Crawl.

The St. Patrick's Day event is sponsored by Goodguys Rod & Custom Association, Red, White & Brew Fest at the Alameda County Fair and the Tri-Valley Beer Trail.
