MLB players to join other Amador Valley High alumni in game against school's varsity today

St. Louis Cardinals player's high school jersey to be retired at noon game

Major league baseball players who once represented Amador Valley High will return to their alma mater for a friendly match during Saturday's alumni game.

Chris Keck of the Colorado Rockies and Stephen Piscotty of the St. Louis Cardinals will join other alumni in a game against Amador Valley's varsity baseball team at noon Saturday at the school.

Gates open at 10:30 a.m. Tickets are $5, and children 5 years and younger are free. A barbeque lunch of $5 will be offered, which includes a hotdog or hamburger, chips and a drink.

Piscotty will be honored during the game when officials retire his Amador Valley jersey.

The school is located at 1155 Santa Rita Road.
