Downtown Holiday Storefront Decorating contest winners announced

Apparel & Co. earns title; two voters win $50 gift cards

Based on votes from visitors near and far, Apparel & Co., 647 Main Street, is the first Downtown Pleasanton business to win the Holiday Storefront Decorating contest.

Visitors to the Pleasanton downtown cast 342 votes, and they came from all over the Tri-Valley, from the North Bay communities of San Rafael and St. Helena, from Southern California and as far away as Las Vegas. Seventeen businesses participated this year.

The winning business will receive a quarter-page ad in the Pleasanton Weekly to thank voters and a special snow globe from the Pleasanton Downtown Association.

Two voters, Amy Reichert of Livermore and Susan Brady of San Ramon, were randomly selected to receive $50 Downtown gift cards.

The contest is sponsored by the Pleasanton Downtown Association and the Pleasanton Weekly.

Congratulations to Apparel & Co!! Their window was simple but beautiful--much like their clothes.
