Patterson Pass Road, section of Tesla Road closed due to mudslides

 

Two roads east of Livermore have been closed because of mudslides in the area Monday.

Field maintenance supervisor David Luera of the Alameda County Public Works Agency said a mudslide on Patterson Pass Road was reported at about 3:25 p.m. Monday just east of Cross Road.

Later, several mudslides on Tesla Road forced the closure of that road as well.

As of late Monday afternoon, traffic in the area was being detoured back to I-580 as crews worked on clearing mud from the roadways.
