Dongman Han here for cultural festival

South Korean consul general Dongman Han presented a gift of new language materials Saturday during a cultural festival at the Pleasanton library.

Han, who has jurisdiction over Northern California, Colorado, Utah and Wyoming, joined Mayor Jerry Thorne in the presentation ceremony. The new Korean language materials are a donation from the Tri-Valley Korean American Parents' Association.

The presentation was followed by a Korean Cultural Festival, which featured food, dance, martial arts and crafts detailing Korean Culture.
