Pleasanton to hold free workshop tomorrow on making brown lawns beautiful

Drought-resistant landscaping, conservation to be topics of 10 a.m. workshop

A free "What to Do with That Brown Lawn" workshop will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Pleasanton Operations Services Center, 3333 Busch Road.

Registration is required since space is limited. Reserve a spot by calling 925-931-5504.

The workshop will cover sustainable drought landscaping, gardening, mulching, water-efficient irrigation and general conservation, including a presentation by local landscape designer Kat Weiss.
