Motorcyclist in fatal collision in Livermore was Patterson resident

Accident occurred at Isabel Avenue, Concannon Boulevard Monday afternoon

The Alameda County coroner has identified a motorcyclist who died in a collision Monday afternoon in Livermore as Robert Cruz Sr., 67, of

Patterson.

The collision involved Cruz's motorcycle and two other vehicles, according to the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department.

Firefighters, police and paramedics responded at 12:44 p.m. to the intersection of Isabel Avenue and Concannon Boulevard on a report of the

collision, fire officials said.

Emergency crews found Cruz on the ground suffering from severe injuries, according to fire officials. An off-duty firefighter was tending to Cruz, but he died, fire officials said.

The occupants of the other vehicles were uninjured, according to fire officials.
