The Swingin' Blue Stars of USS Hornet presenting 'Thanks for the Memories'

The Swingin' Blue Stars of the USS Hornet will present "Thanks for the Memories," a Memorial Day weekend USO Revue, in their fifth annual appearance at the Firehouse Arts Center at 2 p.m. today.

The show will include the four vocalists plus a five-piece swing band presenting special musical tributes to the Armed Forces in the style of the Andrews Sisters with songs from the '40s, '50s and '60s, as well as fun skits, dancers, new numbers and the stand-up comedy of Bill "Bob Hope" Johnson.

Tickets are $15-$25, with child, senior and group discounts available.
