Student career fair set for April 30

Event is free, registration required

A "Career Discovery Fair," hosted by Pleasanton-based Career Track Plus, is set to take place on April 30 at the Robert Livermore Community Center from 6-8 p.m.

The event will be open to Pleasanton, Livermore and Dublin eighth to 12th graders, college students and parents.

The free fair will have information about: colleges, area programs, apprenticeships, Career Technical Education (CTE) and Regional Occupational Program (ROP), scholarships, summer jobs, and internship advising.

In addition, there will be employment skills workshops.

Students are advised to bring a resume or a list of skills and experience, as mock interviews will be available.
