The event, presented by Chevron, is scheduled for April 23 at Castlewood Country Club in Pleasanton. All proceeds from the tournament directly support life-changing programs and services for children throughout the Tri-Valley, according to event organizers.

Pre-registration is available online at trivalley.ymcaeastbay.org, with prices set at $195 per golfer or $750 for a foursome.

The event also includes a dinner, silent and live auctions, and the annual Beauty Event, which features makeovers, mini-massages, hair-styling and complimentary wine-tasting.

The golf tournament begins with registration opening at 10 a.m., with a noon shotgun start to follow. The dinner and auctions are set to begin at 5:30 p.m.

  1. If you’re not a golfer, you should still come and join the Y for this event. The beauty event and dinner are always a great time, and this funds they raise go to a great cause.

It’s $50 for the dinner and auctions, which begin around 5:30pm. If you’re interested in the beauty event, it is included in this $50 price and you should show up starting at 3:30pm.

I know I’ll be there again this year! They always have a lot of fun auction baskets, and typically have trips to Hawaii, Napa, Tahoe, and more!
