The Pleasanton Parent Teacher Association (PTA) Council is accepting nominations for the 25th annual Excellence in Education Awards.
The Pleasanton community can nominate a teacher, administrator or staff member from the Pleasanton school district. Individuals should be nominated based on personal merit and exemplary contributions to public education.
A public ceremony for the 2015 honorees will be held on May 18 at 7 p.m. at the Firehouse Art Center.
Recent honorees in the past five years are not eligible for the award. More information and a list of recent honorees can be found online.
The nomination form and letter (available online) are due April 8 at 4 p.m.
