New Leaf Markets to kick off 2015 'Community Days' today

Store donating 5% of day's sales to Museum on Main

New Leaf Community Markets will hold its first Community Day of the year today with 5% of the day's sales going to Pleasanton's Museum on Main.

The donation will support some of the museum's current projects that preserve and share information about local history. Representatives from the museum will be on hand at the Vintage Hills Center store at 3550 Bernal Ave. during the day.

Thursday's program is one of seven New Leaf has scheduled this year dates this year to donate 5% of its sales to local non profits.

Others that will be supported through New Leaf Community Days are:

Good News Bears, April 16;

Agape Villages Foster Family Agency, June 18;

Valley Humane Society, Aug. 20);

The Taylor Family Foundation, Sept. 17, and,

Alameda Boys and Girls Club, Oct. 15.
