Adventures in Narnia on Pleasanton stage tonight

Bay Area Children's Theatre production ends March 15 at Firehouse Arts Center

Characters portrayed by Sophie Wells, Joanne Houston, Aidan Riechers and Lily Mobraaten explore the fictional realm of Narnia in "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe," a lively youth theater production presented by Pleasanton Civic Arts Stage Company in partnership with Bay Area Children's Theatre, playing March 6-15 at the Firehouse Arts Center.

It tells the timeless story of siblings Lucy, Edmund, Susan and Peter and their escapades in Narnia. While on the surface it is a wonderful adventure story, it also wrestles with questions such as, "How far would you go to protect your sibling?" and "Who wins in the battle of Good vs. Evil?"

Tickets are $6-$18, available at www.firehousearts.org by calling 931-4848, or at the box office, 4444 Railroad Ave.
