Pleasanton's Halloween scavenger hunt today

Coincides with Foothill band review on Main Street

The Pleasanton Downtown Association is sponsoring a Halloween scavenger hunt for elementary school-age children from 10 a.m. to noon today during the Foothill band review on Main Street.

The annual event will start in front of Towne Center Books, located at 555 Main St. in downtown Pleasanton.

Children are asked to come in costume and pick up instructions, a Halloween bag and their first clue at the starting location. Children will have to solve the clue in order to find the next location, where they will be given a small goodie or treat and their next clue.

A total of 14 downtown businesses are participating. Parents will be given the key to help children find the treat locations. More information can be found at
