Pleasanton and other Bay Area residents have a chance to become the country’s next high-profile model when the popular reality TV show, “America’s Next Top Model,” holds open casting calls today in San Jose.
The casting calls will be at Digicom Wireless, 1698 Story Road.
CBS Local Media spokesman Akilah Bolden-Monifa said the casting calls will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for eligible candidates. Men must be a minimum of 5 feet 10 inches tall and women have to be at least 5 feet 7 inches tall to be considered. All aspiring models must be between 18 and 27 years old.
The one- to three-minute auditions, recorded by the local CW TV affiliate, KBCW-TV, will be sent to the show’s producers, who will make the final casting selections. Candidates must fill out an application, which can be found at www.cwbayarea.com, before going to the casting call.
