Pet of the Week: Timmy

When Timmy, a 2- to 3-year-old terrier mix, came into the East County Animal Shelter as a stray in late November, he was a little on the shy side. Since then, has warmed up to volunteers, and has shown everybody that he is an awesome pup just waiting for a great forever home.

He walks pretty well on a leash, loves to play with toys, and to the knowledge of TVAR volunteers, appears to be OK with other dogs. He is about 45-50 pounds and not overly rambunctious.

For more pictures and info on Timmy, check out his profile on Tri-Valley Animal Rescue's website at www.tvar.org. You can meet Timmy at the East County Animal Shelter in Cage D1.

The shelter is located at 4595 Gleason Drive in Dublin, and is open 11:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. seven days a week.
