Cool Tones at Pleasanton library today for free performance

Big band music will highlight December concert that's open to the public

The Cool Tones, a big band favorite during Pleasanton's Concerts in the Park summer series, returns to town today for a free performance at the Pleasanton Public Library.

The one-hour concert, open to the public, will start at 2 p.m. in the library's meeting room, located just to the right after entering the front doors of the library, which is located at 400 Old Bernal Ave.

Librarian Penny Johnson said the Sunday performance is being sponsored by The Friends of the Pleasanton Library, a nonprofit group that provides community support for the library and its programs.
