See 'Holiday Shorts: A Long Winter's Tale' on stage

 

Creatures of Impulse will stage "Holiday Shorts: A Long Winter's Tale" and audience interaction during the first act will inspire holiday-themed games and scenes. The winning short scene will advance to the second act. See it tonight from 7:30-9:30 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 2 or at the same time, Friday, Dec. 3 at Firehouse Arts Center, 4444 Railroad Ave. Cost is $5 for students with valid student I.D., $8 for general admission in advance or $10 at the door. I saw the Creatures of Impulse show in October and it was great. Tonight and tomorrow they are also having a canned food drive for a local food pantry. All those who donate will receive a 10% off coupon for Yolatea.

These kids are great, more talented and skilled than some adult improv shows I've seen. I loved the one they did a couple of years back that used "Twilight" as an inspiration.
