I believe there are several companies that are hosting food drives for Alameda County Community Food Bank.

My company hosts one every year, however, we strive for a new goal each year within our company to collect more weight each year. Employees bring canned goods and packaged food - non-perishable and then we put together a gift basket, sell raffle tickets and give the proceeds to the food bank as well.

Homeowners here in Pleasanton, you probably have the door knob hanger from the Boy Scouts that was posted a few days ago. Saturday is the pick up day. Let's all give something so everyone has enough to eat this holiday season.
