Fall Festival starts at 10 a.m. today in downtown Pleasanton

Pleasanton's second annual Fall Festival will be held today in downtown Pleasanton.

There will be a Spooky Scavenger Hunt starting at 10 a.m. for kids who come in costume. They can register at the Museum On Main, 603 Main St.

Also, a carved pumpkin contest will be held in front of the museum, with judging starting at 1 p.m. Pumpkins should be on display before then.

A number of restaurants and bakeries also are participating in a "Sweet and Savory" tasting contest. A tasting coupon can be purchased for $10.
