The next Alameda County Tri-Valley NOW Chapter meeting will be held tonight from 7:30-8:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 13, at Round Table Pizza, 530 Main St. ACTNOW in welcoming Deputy District Attorney Sharmin Bock from the Alameda County District Attorney's "HEAT Watch" Program. HEAT stands for "Human Exploitation And Trafficking" and is a collaborative effort with other agencies to stop the sexual exploitation and trafficking of minors.
