Thank you for the correction.

Six months is a fair decision. I hope that he gets the help that he needs to stay out of trouble.

I feel abit better about him serving 6 months' jail time versus 6 months' probation. Thanks for the correction.

I do feel, however, that the danger he put not only himself, his family and the entire neighborhood should be addressed. Meth labs are highly dangerous/combustible. Maybe sometime volunteering would help him to 'payback' the community for his total lack of forethought to having this in people's backyard?

If 6 months' in jail is supposed to address his habit, I doubt it will work. Addictions are life-long issue. On-going programs, like NA, AA are what he really needs after he gets out of jail. Anyway we as a society could build that into these sorts of situations?

I wouldn't think anything less coming from the Cholo thing. Hope he gets help and stays out of trouble. In may opinion he will get smarter in regard to his criminal activities...Cholo, you are a real dreamer. I think the Obama group could use you.

By the way..."a correction" why was it reported in the first place as probation and not jail time. They are spelled totally different. If you're going to report...report it correctly. Corrections are usually for misspelled names...not important facts like jail time.

Thanks for listening, Julia from Alamo...yes that same Julia that responds in the Danville Express or Weekly which ever you prefer.

"I wouldn't think anything less coming from the Cholo thing...Cholo, you are a real dreamer. I think the Obama group could use you."

Such ad hominem comments are inappropriate. Whether you agree with or like Cholo or not, he is a person rather than a thing, and his expressing hope that the individual convicted of breaking the law will get help does not justify a "therefore dreamer, therefore Obama camp" conclusion.

Avoiding jabs at the individual helps keep things civil.
