Talk about a bad hair day!

There's much more at the Alameda County Fair than rides and tasty food as Cassandra Gutschall, 25, shows Sunday after getting her hair "styled" at the exclusive Fair Hair booth.

Cassandra said that while her new look would attract "lots of attention" when she got back to her home in Fremont, she planned to "shampoo it all out" to get ready for work on Monday.

The 98th annual fair, which opened Wednesday, is a 17-day assortment of fair festivities and a multitude of events, shows and unique surprises, including the late night fireworks show that starts at dusk Friday night.
