Summer starts today with temperatures in the mid-80s in Pleasanton, Tri-Valley

 

Pleasanton and the Tri-Valley today will see temperatures rising to at least 85 degrees today as summer officially begins. West winds of 5 to 15 mph are expected.

Tonight, the thermometer will drop into the low 50s and with northwest winds of 5 to 20 mph anticipated.

For Tuesday, the National Weather Service is calling for a high of 87 degrees with temperatures expected to stay in the mid-to-high 80s for the rest of the week. Southwest winds of 5 to 10 mph are expected.
