After high of 88 degrees today, temperatures will start moderating in Pleasanton, Tri-Valley

Weather Service calling for low 80s, even high 70s in week ahead

Temperatures will start moderating today in Pleasanton and the Tri-Valley with the National Weather Service calling for a high of 88 degrees by mid-day and forecasting the low 80s--even the 70s--for the week ahead. West winds of 5 to 20 mph are expected.

Tonight the Tri-Valley is expected to be mostly clear with lows in the mid 50s and west winds of 10 to 20 mph.

On Tuesday, the temperatures will moderate with a high of 81 degrees predicted. Temperatures are expected to stay in the low 80s through the rest f the week, dropping into the high 70s on Friday and over the weekend, according to the Weather Service.
