Pleasanton police "Take 25"

Campaign focuses on increasing child safety

Pleasanton police Sgt. Michael Tryphonas talks with 7-year-old Justine Wolchow at the Pleasanton Library as part of the "Take 25" program.

The "Take 25" campaign encourages adults to take 25 minutes to talk about safety to children in their care.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children has a list of 25 things kids should know to keep them safe at home, at school, on the Internet and outside. That list can be found at Take 25.

Wolchow is in the first grade at Alisal Elementary School
