Rain, cool temperatures heading our way in Pleasanton, Tri-Valley

Clear skies, warmer weather predicted for Memorial Day weekend

Pleasanton and the Tri-Valley are expected to be mostly cloudy today with a 70 percent chance of rain late in the day and a high temperature of only 62 degrees. Variable winds of 5 to 20 mph are anticipated.

Tonight, the Tri-Valley is expected to be mostly cloudy and again with a 70 percent chance of showers. A low temperature of 49 degrees is expected along with variable winds of 5 to 20 mph.

For Wednesday, the National Weather Service is calling for partly cloudy skies and a high temperature of 62 degrees by mid-day. Variable winds of 5 to 15 mph are anticipated

Rain is predicted again for Thursday and an unseasonably cool temperature of just 60 degrees. But the rain should start tapering off with clear skies and warmer temperatures forecast for Friday and the Memorial Day weekend.
