Cute, Playful Cat Needs New Home

Uploaded: May 20, 2016
My house has officially been sold and I'm moving Villa San Ramon next week. I can bring two of my four cats with me to the Villa. Another resident has offered to take one of my other cats, but I still need to find a home for my little black cat, Beulah

Beulah is a 10 year old, medium hair, black cat. She's long and skinny and weighs about 10 lbs. She has a lot of personality. She's playful, friendly, and when she feels safe around you she can be very affectionate.

You will need to trim her claws regularly and keep a cat tree for her to scratch on, and she will be a great indoor cat. I prefer that she is kept indoors, but she could go out in a screened-in yard.

She isn't too friendly with my other cats, but she could co-exist with other cats if they are not hostile to her. She has not been around dogs at all, but she might do well if you give her a chance.

She's healthy and has all her shots. Her records are available at Bollinger Canyon Animal Hospital. She's about 10 years old now, but many cats can live into their mid-20s. Please give Beulah a chance, and I'll throw in a "One Fast Cat," exercise wheel. She isn't trained to use it yet, but she could make good use of it if you have room for it.

For more information or to adopt Beulah,

10 is young! And prime age for having developed great personality. Lovely cat, intelligent look to her- so very much hope you find her a good 'cat person' home.

Roz, did you get your cat wheel through the kick starter, or through the website? And were you able to train any of your cats to use it?

I haven't been able to train mine to it, yet.

Good luck with placing your 10-year-old beauty. Unfortunately, I already have three, and they don't take kindly to "interlopers."

Rhel,

I bought the wheel on their website. I was doing a search on "cat toys," for small things to keep them busy, and One Fast Cat came up in the search. It came unassembled and I didn't realize how big it would be until it was put together. It takes up half a room (small room). If you have three cats, could you use it? I need to get rid of it before I move.

Ops, I just read that Rhel already has a One Fast Cat that her cats don't use either. If you can take Beulah, I'll throw in a two story Kitty Condo cage that you can keep her in until the other cats get used to her. I know that can take awhile, but you can keep her in a separate room too. I'm getting desperate. I have no where to put her and I'm too honest to smuggle her into the Villa. I may try to get them to give me an exception on the number cats if I pay a higher pet fee.

Yes, under my name at the top of the article it says E-mail Roz Rogoff. Click that and it will give you my email address. I thought it pulled up an email but it didn't when I tried it here. It might work on your PC, but my email address is rrogoff@embarcaderopublishing.com .

PS Beulah was taken by a Safe Cat volunteer who is putting her up for adoption soon. If you are interested in adopting Beulah, I can put you in touch with the person who has her now. She's a really sweet cat.
