Troop 911 Eagle Scouts ***PHOTO***
Ryan Rumsey and Hugo Urioste of Troop 911 were recognized for earning their Eagle Scout rank at a Court of Honor held Sept. 10 at the home of Gina and Harold Gatlin. To achieve the rank, Scouts must earn 21 merit badges and successfully complete a community service project that requires extensive planning, coordination and leadership.
Ryan's project was to lead more than 10 volunteers in the building of two community planter beds for Trinity Lutheran Church. Ryan graduated from Amador Valley High School this year and is attending Cal Poly San Luis Obispo studying electrical engineering. He is the son of James and Michelle Rumsey of Pleasanton.
Hugo organized and led a service project that benefited the Catholic Community of Pleasanton, with help from fellow scouts from Troop 911. Hugo graduated from Foothill High School and is attending Las Positas College. He is the son of Fernando andd Wilma Urioste of Pleasanton
