Of NoteThe great scarf project
The holiday spirit was alive and well at Lydiksen Elementary School as Donna May's fourth-grade class voted to use its class funds to make scarves for the homeless instead of having a holiday party for themselves. The scarves were distributed, along with bag lunches, to the homeless in San Francisco in collaboration with St. Augustine Church in Pleasanton the week of Dec. 18.
