Brandon Lin is first baby of 2011 at ValleyCare
Born just minutes after midnight

Brandon Lin had the honor of being the first baby born in 2011 at ValleyCare Medical Center Saturday morning, arriving at 7 minutes after midnight.

The son of Su-Lyn and Peter Lin of San Ramon, Brandon measured 19.4 inches and weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces at birth. He joined older brother Kenshin, 3-1/2 years old, when he and his mother went home from ValleyCare last Sunday.

The Lins are software engineers.
