  1. Is this town going to the dogs? First the city blows badly needed money on a dog park we don’t need, and then they are going to block off Main Street for a dog parade?

  2. Stay home you party pooper!!! I Think the dog park is money well spent! It ‘s long time coming! Enter than low income housing!!!

  3. Doggy parade & doggy park what a great city. Hopefully the city doesn’t skimp on features, I would like to see a workout/exercise area as well as a swim facility.

  4. Doesn’t Pleasanton have a swim center and 24hr fitness and Club Sport and 19 fitness plus jazzercise and yoga. I am a proud dog owner and very happy that Pleasanton is finally doing something for our loyal furry friends.

  5. Going to the Dogs, do you understand the idea that the street was already being closed for the 1st Wednesday Street Party? They are not closing it just for the dog parade? I am guessing that you probably skim the Pleasanton Weekly just to find things to complain about. I challenge you to put some clothes on today (clean if available), open the shades in the house, and get some fresh air. Go downtown, you might actually enjoy it and understand why Pleasanton residents, which I have been for 20 years, enjoy this community. Or, on the flip side, you can turn on the news and continue being unhappy and negative. Either way, I, and about 10,000 other people, will be enjoying the evening!
