Police log: Man stabbed in bar fight at Redcoats Around Town, posted by Editor, Pleasanton Weekly Online, on Jan 11, 2013 at 9:10 am
A Pleasanton man was stabbed in a fight outside Redcoats British Pub and Restaurant at 336 St. Mary St. on Jan. 4, although according to a police report he didn't initially realize he'd been injured badly enough to require medical care.

Has Redcoats become another draw for out-of-town roughians? I guess Club Neo is the bar for gunfighting in the parking lot; now Redcoats is the one for stabbing?

Pleasanton has been fighting so hard to get a downtown nightlife. Looks like they are starting to get it. Stay tuned for more drunks, drugs, and violence.

Shut it down, it took a long time go get rid of the Bars, now we have Red Coats, I wouldn't spend a nickel in the place, it has become a hangout for the Raider Nation crowd.

I've been to Redcoats a couple of times. It was hardly scary. It was a bunch of cougars looking for dates. I enjoyed a Trivia Night or two there. I'd hardly call it "seedy".
