Dog Owners

Original post made by Hoops, Mohr Park, on Oct 6, 2013

I do not know what has changed but it appears there is a new breed of dog owner,no pun intended, that does not understand the concept of picking up after their dogs.I walk everyday in the Mohr and Orloff Park area and it has become like a minefield of dog poop.It did not use to be like this but the last year or so it as changed.Do all the new people in the area have dogs and do not give a crap, pun intended ?Come on people,be responsible. It appears most of the offenders tend to be younger and I often see most under 30's showing no evidence of carrying anything to pick up the mess.Have some pride in where you live and some respect for your community. It is called responsibility, and it comes with owning a dog.

Hoops, we all notice the slobs who don't pick up after their pets. They leave their mark all over the Sportspark and on the trails. It's laziness and a lack of common sense that they need to pick up after themselves. Poor upbringing, selfishness and a lack of respect for those of us who pay taxes to maintain these public spaces.

Cholo, it's a beautiful day outside...go outside and enjoy it, but only after you clean up after yourself...your diarrhea of the keyboard is disgusting. Stop now.

Cholo I would imagine ou are probaby one of the offenders but I doubt you ever leave your computer and go outside since you seem to live for making comments on every forum that contribute nothing....to each thier own.Maybe you have circumstances in your life that are very challenging and this is your outlet.I guess we should not be judgmental except in the case of the dog poop offenders.

Not to mention the irresponsible dog owner(s) who allow their dog(s) to urinate on my front lawn and leave burn marks all over it. I've spent thousands of dollars repairing my lawn year after year and it just doesn't stop. We need to enact some ordinance to curb these behavior. I will be installing cameras to catch the offending dog owner(s) and sue them for the damages.

these people are fools. same PETA loving idiots who cry about everything animal. i have seen it all over town, guy walking his dog and it takes a dump on the sidewalk and grabs a handful and leaves a smeared mess in the middle of the sidewalk, or the dozens of offenders at the sports park who just walk away or in the case i witnessed run when confronted. for starters IT SOULD BE ILLEGAL TO HAVE ANIMALS AT THE SPORTS PARKS, there are plenty of parks where animals can be walked, leave the sports parks for sports only.
