Hello,
We have been missing our beloved tabby cat since Dec. 3. She is an outdoor access cat who never stays out past dark. We have contacted every single person we could and have even enlisted the help of professionals.
She is 2 years old and 8 pounds. She is brown with black stripes, has a striped tail that is dipped at the end and has very velvety back paws.
She has allegedly been seen in the Vintage Hills area, Vineyard and Tawny Park. She has also maybe been seen around the Vineyard Mobile Homes area. She however, disappeared in the Ruby Hill area.
If you have any information, please help. I know many people don't agree with letting cats out to roam neighborhoods, but none of my neighbors have complained. If you know anything about her whereabouts, please let us know. If they had, I assure you, we would have kept her indoors. I think almost all of our neighbors have outdoor access cats as well. We are worried sick!!!

Pekhna, can't you just buy another one?
My guess is that your cat found someone who gave it milk and top-notch food of better quality than you did and so the cat said why the heck not go with the higher class owner?

The mean-spirited nature of the posts above is really appalling, and you should be ashamed. Do you think the OP really needs a lecture right now? PW editors, the garbage on these fora has really gotten out of hand and reflects poorly on your site.

Steve comes across as a bleeding heart liberal loon who wants to shame everyone who has a better life than he does. Both Pleasanton Heights and myself (Ruby Hill) posted our neighborhood. Steve appears to be ashamed of his neighborhood and turns his envy into trying to humiliate people who are work harder and are better educated than he is.
I hope you have found your cat Pekhna. I'm just saying it's probably found a better home.

Did you try the East County Animal Shelter in Dublin? If your cat has been picked up by Animal Control or turned in by someone, she will be there. They are required to keep her 5 days, and it could be past that now, so you better call or go over there ASAP.

I hope you checked with as many neighbors as possible. This happened to us a number of years ago. Our cat was about one year, he went visiting the neighbors behind us and a few houses down. Though we called him numerous times throughoutday he didnt come home. We then walked the neighborhood, knocking on doors. Seems the neighbors daughter fell in love with him and the decided to keep him. Needless to say, we got our cat back.
