Robbery fails at Chase Bank in Pleasanton, succeeds at a Chase branch in Livermore
Crimes & Incidents, posted by Editor, Pleasanton Weekly Online, on Oct 4, 2012 at 8:24 am

It was a zero-sum game for Pleasanton police and two would-be bandits who attempted to hold up Chase Bank Tuesday. The suspects failed to get any cash and, so far, also got away.

Why won't the Police give a description?

That's how they caught the last one.

Same guys got the Chase in Livermore on Wed. Maybe they should upgrade their cameras. There are cameras everywhere now. Why not deploy them in a bank lobby?

Just because it's not here, does not mean the cops didn't release it. A different news source had the description so it's likely pleasantonweekly not putting it.

"Zero Sum Game"

That's the wackiest version of it I've ever heard/read. It can happen to anyone, but please do re-write the first sentence.

Zero sum game: This is where there is only room for one contestant to win. There can be neither two winners or two losers.

... nor two losers.

"Catalytic converters were targeted by thieves this week."

Another good reason to stop hoarding junk in your gargage and actually use it for what it was intended for: parking your car in.

"Ptown native" you have to click on the Web Link to read the full story. Two black males, early 20's, can't believe nobody has trolled a BART related race comment yet?

Oh wait, I just did, darn!

Thanks Mr Geeneyuss. When the article came out

yesterday morning, it said they 'had not' released the

descriptions yet. I see today, that the descriptions are

in there now. (Not that I couldn't have guessed even

without it.)
