Hi Ms. Gonzales,
I miss seeing you in the morning because you were a part of starting my day with John Kessler, Syndie Kohara. All of you were missed. I'm glad you will still do the weather because you are very good.
My one suggestion is to educate the elementary, Jr. High, and High School students a little more because many don't understand where they are outside of Pleasanton or the Bay Area.
It would be good if you could show the globe of the earth, then Western Americas, then the United States, California, Bay Area, East Bay, then Pleasanton. The city would changed based on the city you are broadcasting from in the morning, etc. I found that students don't have a clear understanding of where they live compared to the rest of the world. This will let them see that Pleasanton is one city in the Bay Area, Northern California, the State of California, The United States, the Americas, and where the Americas are compared to the rest of the world.
This can be presented via cartoons, maps, etc. The students (Elementary, Jr. High, and High School) can be asked how they would let people find the city they live in.
