Bachmann Campaign in Final Death Throes

Bachmann Campaign in Final Death Throes by Cindy Cross
Michelle Bachmann's run for the 2012 GOP nomination is unraveling. Friday her campaign staffers in New Hampshire walked out and quit. Adding insult to injury, these same staffers have been open about their employer to the media, "The manner in which some in the national team conducted themselves towards Team-NH was rude, unprofessional, dishonest, and at times cruel. But more concerning was how abrasive, discourteous, and dismissive some within the national team were towards many New Hampshire citizens. These are our neighbors and our friends, and some within the national team treated them more as a nuisance than as potential supporters," they wrote.
Bachmann was clueless about their departure on Friday and decided that the reports were false, "We have called staff in New Hampshire to find out where that came from and the staff have said that isn't true, so I don't know if this is just a bad story that's being fed by a different candidate or campaign," said Bachmann.
Denying the facts and making false claims is nothing new to Michelle Bachmann. The first major false claim she made was during the GOP debate about the 'dangers' of the HPV vaccination, where she erroneously claimed that it caused mental retardation to the dismay of scores of medical professionals.
Bachmann also sent NRA enthusiasts up in arms after she insinuated that the United Nations (UN) was trying to take away our right to bear arms. "I don't believe in the U.N. taking that right away from us, as well. There are international treaties that want to do that." What she didn't understand, as she should, is that the UN is drafting an arms treaty that is aimed at curtailing illegal international gun sales. Many gun manufacturers may be nervous that this could hurt their business, but the U.N. has no dominion over the United States Constitution.
Bachmann has been proven wrong on many other of her claims. She is more of a distraction now when compared to the other more serious and worthy GOP candidates. She needs to leave the election now while she has a half decent reputation intact, or face the prospect of becoming a political caricature on Saturday Night Live.

Finally!

Yes, I know, her story line is great on paper. But when it plays out in the public, would you really want her as your President? I don't think so.

I thought she was good looking, but every time I say that people scorn me. I guess they look at the depth of the personality not merely at the surface as I tend to do.

She'll be a good home town, evangelical, woop em up gal at the county fair. But that's about it.

I bust a gut when I read that her team walked off and neglected to tell her they all quit!

How could anybody be so out of touch that they don't know they have NO support...tee hee hee, tee hee hee...

I like the one about how she recently claimed 59,000 immigrants from terrorist-sponsored entered the US illegally this past year. I hope she remains in the race. My only regret is that Palin isn't up on the stage with her. Between 'I'll say whatever you want me to say' Romney and the two beauty queen clowns, the santorum, the Uncle Tom and everyone fighting over who hates immigrants more, US citizens have been offered a fine display of what the GOP has to offer.

@Steve "More weaklings afraid of strong women" ... are you kidding??? Have you seen the guy at the bar before his wife at Alberto's when ordering a second Corona on Friday night? That's me. I'm not afraid of a strong woman, I just merely quietly obey all her commands.

BTW: Bachmann just didn't have the stuff to be on the national scene ... but a good ol' Sunday church hollering ... now that's more like it!

Plutonians...dig deep and tell the truth...would you want Marcus Bachmann living in the White House?

What would he do...be in charge of the pantry?

I'm sure I could find more, but I have to go home and cook dinner before my wife gets home. I take it you're not married? To a woman?
Pity.....I'm sure you'd make someone very happy, or at least entertained.

No worries, Bachman won't be bugging you big strong boys anymore...however, Palin back with a vengence........

no beating around the bush...he's a guy role model? tee hee hee, tee hee hee...

beyond keeping an orderly pantry, how else might he make America proud? they say he can bake...whatever!

tee hee hee, tee hee hee...

Spend a lot of time surfing the web, cholo? I see that Home Depot has now posted signs near their parking lots explicitly prohibiting loitering, so that may explain all your free time.

I've educated more than one illegal re: how to ask for free medical care in any ER.

They all know where to get free food, clothes and what to say if they need to beg for money.

Most of the illegals that I know have been instructed in how to enroll their children in a public school.

I have to check Home Deport for any illegals who are hanging around the fort! tee hee hee, tee hee hee...

ps Is happy face and his missy funny or what?

Makes my skin crawl, but Cholo knows of what he speaks. The catholic church coaches illegals in how to cross the border, how and where to get services for the babies they're carrying, how to work the system to get our much too easy, much to generous services.....a very LONG list of overlapping services !
As if violating our legal system, by allowing molesters to walk free, isn't bad enough, shame on the traitors to our country who allow aiding and abetting this theft on US citizens.
I am amazed at the sheep who allow these repeated assults on Americans, and bow to the coaching violators as they kick us.

Those awful Catholics again! Let's see, Christ is confronted by an impoverished father in the desert who is unable to provide adequately for his family in Mexico. The impoverished father asks for help: Please, Jesus, help me find my way to food and sustenance for my family! Christ replies: Sorry, fella, but the border is closed to illegal aliens like yourself. It's enough to make your skin crawl, isn't it?

Shucks, I'd think even non-Catholics, on moral grounds, would want to help the Coyote Cholo run the underground railroad for immigrants.

Signed,
Yet Another Coyote

Talking to people from another country is all about Free Speech.

If you're afraid that some Americans speak with others in need, go back to where your ancestors came from.

Children and their families have a right to thrive. Educating children is one of best ways to make the world a better place. Helping people access food helps them stay alive.

Gus, you're quite the unabashed racist. Are you filled with hate towards all African-Americans or just the ones who have wandered off the plantation?

The best, most helpful, and long lasting help, guidance, teaching or preaching, would include instruction and a supply of condoms...the already starving children in the family would be much happier. Wrong cholo, feeding them does not help them 'live'. it prolongs their misery...how cruel. Gus, you abuse Christ's message of 'teaching them to fish' so they could be comfortable for decades...that is HIS message...Condoms help meet the responsibility of the children they have ALREADY BRED ! ! ! ! THAT is real kindness and caring ! ! !... in addition to bettering the family, it's done without US taxpayers picking up the tab. How wonderful if any INDIVIDUALS might choose to VOLUNTEER, but since we are a country of individuals supposedly responsible for ourselves, I'd prefer if I be left with enough to do that. My sweat should not be confiscated against my wishes. Everybody would be better off, if each xxxxx provided for his own brood. As if they haven't committed enough crimes against us, the male leaders of the catholic church should do the providing, not having and helping with an underground on how to 'rob' American taxpayers. YOU don't have the RIGHT ot take from me or any other Americans. Where's the church's of PROVIDING for it's flock?? that doesn't mean pawning off on taxpayer's, when to survice in this 21st century, condoms are needed. You want MY $$, you follow MY RULES ! ! I can't afford your arbitrary rules that never existed 2000 years ago...just to make your church grow. do that on your own bucks, not mine.

I would like to see Bachmann in death throes for sure.
Truly, though, it is so sad to see that there really isn't anyone that looks worthy, willing and able to be President of this great country of ours. So sad, it is.

There certainly is an excellent 'worthy, willing, and able' candidate for President that is also educated, experienced, competent and super clean, one wife, and without corruption....Mitt Romney.
Extremely stupid religously bigotted zealots, who are very UNchristian-like hypocrites, are screwing with the future of our country.
Incumbent Obama will stay.

"Extremely stupid religiously bigotted[sic] zealots...." Doesn't that describe the vast majority of the Republican Party?

Yeah, let's put the cannibalistic job-killer Romney to work. Put him in and let him cut 10-20% of the federal workforce. Or maybe he didn't say that's what he'd do. Or maybe he did. Or maybe he didn't.... In any event it'll be great for the economy.

Face it, only Sarah Palin can save the day for Republicans. She is extremely stupid, religiously bigoted, a hypocritical zealot ... what's not for the freedom seekers to like?

Why are all these people posting anti Michelle Bachmann comments? The people who are posting obviously would not vote for Bachmann, and probably wouldn't vote for any Republican. It sounds like a lot of left wing Democrats who have nothing better to do than trash a Republican candidate who isn't anywhere close to being a front runner.
For all those people who are posting here to trash Michelle Bachmann, it looks like the only reasons for doing that are because she is: 1) a woman, and 2) a conservative.
Doesn't the left always trash conservative women? I can't think of an example where the left didn't trash a conservative woman.

I have some respect for Senators Snowe and Collins, both from Maine, though I disagree with them on a majority of issues. Both are women, both are conservative, and unlike so many of the GOP senators, they appear to be reasonably intelligent.

Now, forgive me as I share a laugh with so many of the other above posters at the prospect of Michelle Bachmann being president of anything, let alone the United States. And then permit me to double over in laughter after hearing this nutcake won Iowa's straw poll and continues to elicit support from right-wing nutcakes here and elsewhere.
