With Mother's Day right around the corner, the Pleasanton Weekly again is holding its annual Mother-Daughter Lookalike contest. First-place prize is a $100 gift certificate for Strizzi's restaurant and having your photo printed in the Weekly.

What about daughters who look a lot like thier dads? I'm a woman who looks very much like her father and not much like her mother. Every year the PW holds a mother-daughter contest for mothers day... What about making it a little fairer and having a mother-kid contest in May and a father-kid contest in June? I'm not trying to be politically correct, I'm just trying a way to participate in one of the photo contests!!

...or, people that look like their dogs! I've seen pictures from some of these contests and they are hilarious. Just take a walk through the Sportspark sometime and you'll see lots of dogwalkers that resemble their pooches (or vice versa).

That's the Pooch parade Steve! Every year my kids and I watch that parade to see the look alikes! It is uncanny for sure.

I agree with Gina. My girls look much more like dad! I only know I'm their mom because I was there...lol I wish I looked as beautiful as my dogs...
