Four rescued from stuck roller coaster at Fair

Four juveniles got an extra thrill last week when the roller coaster they were on got stuck at the Alameda County Fair and they were rescued by firefighters.

Fly by night operations such as these are the backbone of this economy. It would be a terrible shame if the feds stepped in with more onerous rules and oversight just because a rollercoaster fails once in a while. Just like in the Constitution, there is no provision for government regulating private ownership of guns, hand grenades, sticks of dynamite, and what have you. There is nothing in the Constitution about regulating roller coasters.

Things breakdown, even well maintained things. Has your car ever broken? Your dishwasher? etc. etc. There were no injuries and the teens had a story to tell...stop making it out like it is such a big deal.
