Cool! This is like playing Jeopardy, because I guess I should have made my post as a question!
So - Where does the profit from Jessica Brooks' website go? Does it go into Ms. Brooks' pocket, because if it does, then I would say she's profiting off her son's allergy. If it goes to somewhere noble, then she should certainly call that out on the website so that I can deduct the cost of my T-shirt from my taxes.
Bonus Question - why does the PW post a feel-good piece like this without digging a bit deeper. It's unfortunate, but the crap that goes on in the world these days makes us all skeptical and a jaded. Ask the questions, or we're more than likely going to assume the worst.

I would not put my kid in one of those shirts if it were free. There are certainly more dignified ways of letting someone know to be cautious about a kids allergies. My son has severe peanut allergies and those who care for him do not need a t shirt to help them understand. What kind of subliterates is this woman leaving her kid with?
