I'm glad to know the plot of this movie. At first I thought it was a revisionist history of the Sully plane landing - with the plane being upside-down and Sully being a black African American of color.

But now, it's Hollywood's attempt to make a hero out of a substance abuser because he's an "oppressed" minority with "personal demons" - most likely caused by having to compete on a level playing field instead of having Affirmative Action tip the scales in his favor even more.
