Change your Clocks, Change your battery Around Town, posted by James Art, FPE, a resident of the Another Pleasanton neighborhood neighborhood, on Nov 6, 2012 at 10:53 am
Just a reminder-
When you change your clocks, also change the battery in your smoke detectors, and in your Carbon Monoxide detectors. It can save your life or your loved ones!
Another idea is to write the date it is due again: (write: "Due 11/06/13" ) on a piece of masking tape and put it on the side of the detector so you can tell when! (Don't cover the vents.)
Smoke detectors get old, and should be replaced after 10 years.
