At-risk missing adult located by Pleasanton police

The Pleasanton Police Department has located Diane Taylor who was reported missing on Oct. 4.

When these types of missing young adults occur, does the Pleasanton Police department need volunteers to distribute photos/descriptions to areas around the East Bay where the kids may go? Or are there already volunteer groups to help with this?

I hope this young woman is safe and asks for help if she needs it.

I'm to busy now, but what we need is someone to invent a app that when someone goes missing, it alerts everyone and shows a picture of that individual. Instantly everyone would with a smart phone would know what that person looks like. The problem is that is pretty big brother ins't it?

There is one! go to www.nixle.us and sign up for Pleasanton Police alerts. A flyer went home today from our school with this info.

BTW I just received an alert that she was has been located :)
