The castlewood homicide
Crimes & Incidents, posted by Richard, a resident of the Heritage Oaks neighborhood, on Apr 29, 2008 at 5:39 pm

Hardly anything has been reported over the last few weeks at least that I've seen. Did I miss something somewhere? or are the police really been this close-mouthed?

I have wondered this same thing (lack of update) Is there any update or arrest made in this case?

It seems that way with a number of stories which are "opened" by the Pleasanton Weekly. They are front-page, hot topics for a day, then get dropped and never followed up on until someone (or some two or three) inquire here. My guess is we'll see a story today on the Castlewood case, after the prodding in the comments. For instance, is the infant (see April 9th) still in critical condition? It was the same way when the senior-citizen driver of the black SUV was critically injured in the October accident on Foothill. For weeks, no one heard whether she had recovered or was still in critical condition.
