Adult Ed Classes at Bernal Location: Too Dark at Night for Comfort
Schools & Kids, posted by Kyra, a resident of the California Reflections neighborhood, on Feb 22, 2008 at 5:09 pm

I took Spanish lessons through Pleasanton Adult Education. The classes were in the evening at the Bernal/First Street location. I was surprised by how poorly lit the complex is at night. It is a maze of buildings, ramps, multiple staircases, etc., and so poorly lit that it felt unsafe. Pleasanton is very safe, but deserted buildings and parking lots in near pitch-dark conditions make me uncomfortable.

I see interesting classes in the brochure, but I refuse to take another class there. The people who head Pleasanton Adult Education don't have enough respect for residents to provide decent lighting around the buildings and in the parking lot.
