The Mayor Ms. Hosterman is doing something positive with native wildlife by caring for and flying the Red Tail Hawk. She took a bird that was in trouble and likely would not survive with its wound, had a vet treat the wound, and is working with the bird so that it builds its health and skills. This is commendable. She plans to release the bird when it is able to hunt successfully on its own. This is professionalism.

However, what is NOT commendable is that out of political spite. we have an individual trying to make trouble for the Mayor. This small minded behavior, this petty meanness is disgusting and the guy should be ashamed of himself for such behavior. Also, the citizens of Pleasanton should take note of his behavior. And comparing falconry with cockfighting...that indeed is stupid. There is no comparison. Shame on your sir...SHAME.
