Michael Vick is sentenced for 23-month jail imprisonment for "animal cruelty" as what other people utter for being the instigator of illegal dog fight and animal cruelty. What you think, was the conviction fair or not? Some people say that it's a fair conviction though some utter that is not fair (it's too much) some say that the amount of punishment is just little for the deeds that he committed. In my own point of view, I really can't tell if the conviction was fair or not, I agree that his deeds has been sensationalized and his punishment vastly exceeds his deeds but I also agree that it was a fair conviction and the amount of punishment is just little for his actions (I'm not being bias here) since I'm also a dog breeder and justice seeker Anyway I heard the topic in Sirius for Barber Shop by Tiki and Ronde they're going to tackle and give us their points of view about the sensational issue of the former Falcons star Michael Vick. If you have a satellite radio you can catch up tonight's issue of the said show.

I will sleep better knowing that michael vick is in prison! The lives of dogs are precious and he had no business harming them. He is lucky that I was not the judge because I would have sentenced him to death in the electric chair. Yup, that's what I would have done.
As for his friends who turned on him....tee hee hee, tee hee hee... pick better "friends"! Happy Qwanza!!!

This guy was handed the world when he was drafted into pro football. Granted pro ballplayers work hard to get where they are but they should be thankful they get the opportunity to do something that millions of other people only dream of doing.... not only did he ruin this dream for himself but he set a bad example for the younger generations who looked up to this loser. In my opinion he got off easy.....

I also think that usually this is what happens to people that are naturally gifted, and when they don't come from a great background or upbringing (DOG FIGHTING!!!!) then these things happen. They throw away their future all by themselves. No pitty here.

He should be shot in the head along with anyother person tht takes up dog fight or harming any animals. He is a sick sick man and i am so happy to know he is jail but sad cus it is not long enough i hope he losses everything. Any team he will play for i will not support! people should care about this issue so much more.

i'd give him the minimum sentence. dog's die, some are bread to fight, it is what it is. that doesn't make it right. but, after all the chemical companies do much worse painfull, and extended amount of torture than a 60 secobnd fight.
